Terri’s Tips
WANT MORE DISTANCE??
TEE IT HIGH AND LET IT FLY!
The longer the ball stays in the air the farther it will travel! Most don’t tee the ball up high because they are afraid, they will POP IT UP!
If you are popping up your tee shots it has NOTHING to do with the height of the tee, it has everything to do with the ANGLE OF ATTACK you are putting on the ball.
To help with this, make sure ball is played inside the left foot. Head should be behind the ball at the setup, left shoulder should be slightly higher than your right shoulder. Now the key to hitting a good shot is to swing UP on the ball, not DOWN. Only with your tee shot, not your irons.
Hope this helps you gain a few extra yards, but if you really want to lower your scores take less putts during your round!
